Slovenia-based United Eagle has recently expanded its fleet by acquiring its first Cessna Citation Jet CJ2+, marking a significant addition to its range of aircraft. The jet, registered as S5-CEU and bearing the manufacturer serial number 525A-0387, successfully completed its ferry flight from Calgary, Canada, to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The journey, tracked via Flightradar24 ADS-B data, spanned from April 9 to April 11, 2024, with stopovers in Churchill, Iqaluit, Reykjavik Keflavik, and Liège. Following its arrival, the 16.4-year-old aircraft embarked on its inaugural flight under the United Eagle code ‘UEE’ on April 12, heading to its new base in Liège.

This strategic acquisition of the Citation CJ2+ enhances United Eagle’s operational capabilities, adding to its existing fleet that includes one Citation Jet 1 and one Citation Jet CJ3+. The addition of the CJ2+ is part of United Eagle’s ongoing efforts to modernize and expand its service offerings, ensuring it continues to meet the diverse needs of its clientele.
