Ventura Air Services Expands with Acquisition of AOG Maintenance Firm Alpha Aircraft Services

Ventura Air Services, based in Farmingdale, has strategically expanded its operations by acquiring Alpha Aircraft Services, a specialized AOG (Aircraft on Ground) maintenance firm located in Teterboro. This acquisition, finalized on April 1, aims to enhance Ventura’s service offerings and provide added value to its customers.

Sam Wolf, President of Ventura Air Services, emphasized that the acquisition aligns with the company’s commitment to aircraft reliability and its goal to bolster its retail service capabilities. “The decision to acquire Alpha Aircraft Services was driven by our commitment to aircraft reliability and the desire to strengthen our retail service offerings,” said Wolf.

Ventura operates a fleet comprising six Challenger 604s and five Citation Excels, offering a range of aviation services including private charters, aircraft sales, management, maintenance, and avionics. Alpha Aircraft Services, established in 2010, brings a decade of expertise in rapid-response maintenance, which is critical for addressing unplanned aircraft repair needs that occur during operations.

With this acquisition, Ventura Air Services not only expands its maintenance capabilities but also reinforces its position in the aviation industry by integrating Alpha’s specialized skills and resources into its comprehensive service portfolio. This move is expected to enhance operational efficiencies and improve service delivery to Ventura’s clientele, further solidifying its market presence.
