Switzerland’s Cat Aviation Becomes First Operator of Dassault Falcon 6X

Cat Aviation, based in Zurich, has proudly taken delivery of the world’s first ultra-long-range Dassault Falcon 6X, marking a significant milestone in aviation. The aircraft, registered HB-JTO (msn 5), was ferried to Zurich on February 21, 2024, following connectivity outfitting by Satcom Direct at Little Rock. Since its arrival, the Falcon 6X has been actively conducting flights across Europe, starting February 29.

Helene Niedhart, the founder of Cat Aviation, expressed pride in the company’s longstanding relationship with Dassault Aviation. “As a Dassault Aviation aircraft operator for more than 20 years, we are very proud to be the world’s first Falcon 6X operator. In 2008, we were also one of the first Falcon 7X operators. Our fleet has grown steadily, and we have become the largest Dassault Falcon operator in Switzerland,” Niedhart stated. She highlighted the extensive experience of Cat Aviation’s CAMO, crew, and flight operations teams in managing Dassault Falcon aircraft.

The Falcon 6X is an evolution of the cancelled Falcon 5X model and was officially certified in August 2023. It represents the latest in a series of advanced jets from Dassault, known for their performance and luxury.

In addition to the new Falcon 6X, Cat Aviation’s fleet includes two Falcon 2000LXS, two Falcon 7X, one PC-24, and one Gulfstream G650ER. This diverse fleet underscores the carrier’s commitment to offering top-tier aviation services with some of the most sophisticated aircraft available on the market.
