Sky Wings Aviation Secures Contract for Punjab Air Ambulance Service in Pakistan

Sky Wings Aviation, based at Karachi International, has been awarded a significant contract to operate a new air ambulance service in Pakistan’s Punjab province. This development comes after a proposal by Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, with the service expected to become operational in June.

The air ambulance service will utilize a Piper Seneca II, registration AP-BFM (msn 664), which is currently the only aircraft listed under Sky Wings Aviation according to Pakistan’s aircraft registry. A video posted on social media showcasing the first training session for the service has confirmed the use of this aircraft.

While Sky Wings Aviation is primarily known as a passenger charter specialist, local news outlets have reported that a second Piper Aircraft will also be employed for the Punjab air ambulance service. However, details about which company will provide this second aircraft remain uncertain.

This new service aims to enhance emergency medical response capabilities in Punjab, improving rapid medical transport across the region and potentially saving lives by ensuring quicker response times to medical emergencies.
