Norse Atlantic Airways announced the inauguration of its inaugural flight connecting Las Vegas (LAS) to London Gatwick (LGW) on September 12, 2024. This marks Norse Atlantic Airways’ first departure from Las Vegas, presenting an opportunity for travelers to explore the UK capital and its myriad attractions within an 11-hour journey.
Upon landing at London Gatwick, passengers are a mere 30-minute train ride from the heart of London. The city’s wealth of art galleries, museums, and vibrant dining and nightlife scenes await, alongside the opportunity to delve into Britain’s diverse culture. Additionally, the route serves as a gateway for exploring the British countryside or seaside gems like Brighton, Bournemouth, and Rye.
This new service not only facilitates travel from the US to the UK but also invites European tourists to experience the unparalleled entertainment and iconic sights of Las Vegas.
Norse Atlantic Airways is set to operate this route three times weekly, ensuring both convenience and flexibility for leisure and business travelers alike. Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder, expressed enthusiasm for the new service, highlighting London Gatwick’s strategic importance as a commercial hub and its inclusion in Norse’s growing route portfolio.
Economy fares for this transatlantic journey start at $299 (one-way, inclusive of all taxes and fees), with Premium seats available from $699 (one-way, inclusive of all taxes and fees).
Passengers aboard Norse Atlantic’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner will enjoy a superior travel experience, featuring personal entertainment systems in every seat. The Premium cabin boasts a 43” seat pitch and 12” recline, ensuring a restful flight. Norse Atlantic offers Economy and Premium cabins with fare options—Light, Classic, and Flextra—tailored to different travel preferences and needs, from Norse’s value offering to the Flextra fare, which includes added benefits like increased baggage allowance, two meal services, and enhanced flexibility.
