NBAA-BACE to Host Collegiate Connect Program and Career Fair to Inspire Students in Business Aviation

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is extending an invitation to college students to participate in its Collegiate Connect program and Career Fair at the 2023 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, NV. These events are designed to introduce students to the diverse and exciting opportunities within the business aviation industry and facilitate connections with potential employers and mentors.

The Collegiate Connect program is scheduled for October 19, the third day of NBAA-BACE, which is the world’s largest and most influential business aviation trade show. The program will feature presentations from NBAA leaders and young professionals, networking sessions with peers and industry experts, and guided tours of the exhibit floor and aircraft displays. Students will have the opportunity to explore nine distinct career categories: airport business, business management, broker/sales, cabin attendant, innovation and technology, maintenance, marketing, pilot, and scheduler/dispatcher.

The Career Fair will take place on October 18, from 1-5 p.m., and October 19, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Over a dozen companies, including West Star Aviation, Universal Weather and Aviation, Jet Aviation, StandardAero, Bombardier, and Charter Jet One, are expected to host recruiting stations during the event. Students can engage in discussions about employment and internship prospects with recruiters, submit their resumes online, have professional headshots taken, and participate in a giveaway for a $200 Amazon gift card.

NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen emphasized that the Collegiate Connect program and Career Fair are integral to NBAA’s commitment to addressing workforce challenges within the business aviation community. He expressed hope that these events would inspire young individuals to pursue rewarding careers in business aviation and find their place within the global industry.
