Hilton Set to Debut in Five New Markets in 2024: What Travelers Need to Know

Hilton continues its dynamic expansion with plans to enter five new markets in 2024, promising travelers even more options to earn and redeem Hilton Honors points. These new destinations include Bermuda, Paraguay, Nepal, Laos, and Timor-Leste, each featuring exciting new properties under various Hilton brands.

Here’s what travelers can expect:

Paraguay: Hilton Garden Inn Asunción Aviadores del Chaco This autumn, Hilton will open its first hotel in Paraguay, the Hilton Garden Inn Asunción Aviadores del Chaco. Located near the World Trade Center Asunción and local shopping centers, this hotel is perfect for business and leisure travelers, offering an on-site restaurant and a heated indoor pool.

Nepal: Hilton Kathmandu Opening in May, Hilton Kathmandu marks the brand’s debut in Nepal. With 173 rooms and stunning views of the Himalayas, the hotel features a rooftop bar, an all-day restaurant, and a grab-and-go deli, embellished with local art and motifs.

Bermuda: Bermudiana Beach Resort, Tapestry Collection by Hilton Scheduled to open at the end of the year, this resort in Warwick, Bermuda offers a pink sand beach, a cliff-top bar and restaurant, two pools, a spa, and more, just a short drive from the capital city of Hamilton.

Laos: Hilton Vientiane Set to open in the autumn, the DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane will be Hilton’s first property in Laos. Located near the iconic stupa That Dam and surrounded by colonial French architecture, the hotel is within walking distance of cultural attractions and local markets.

Timor-Leste: Hilton Dili Palm Springs Also debuting in the autumn, the Hilton Dili Palm Springs is the first Hilton hotel in Timor-Leste. Located in Dili’s embassy and business district, it offers mountain views, contemporary design, multiple dining options, and extensive meeting and event spaces.

Additional Brand Expansions Hilton’s growth continues with several brands making their debut in new destinations. Notably, DoubleTree by Hilton will open in the Azores, Curio Collection by Hilton will expand into Croatia, and the Motto by Hilton will mark its first presence in Asia with a hotel in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Canopy by Hilton is set to enter Japan, and the Curio Collection will introduce its first all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic. Additionally, Hilton’s luxury brand Waldorf Astoria will make its debut in Costa Rica.
