Etihad Airways has announced a significant expansion of its network by introducing Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia, as its latest destination. This addition marks the airline’s fourth gateway into Saudi Arabia and emphasizes its ongoing commitment to enhancing connectivity within the region.

Starting June 24, 2024, Etihad will operate four weekly flights connecting Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport directly with Prince Naif Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Al Qassim. This new route not only highlights the airline’s growth but also its dedication to exploring vibrant markets within Saudi Arabia.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, expressed his enthusiasm about the new service. “The launch of our flights to Al Qassim is a milestone as we celebrate 20 years of connecting Abu Dhabi with the diverse culture and thriving economic landscape of Saudi Arabia,” he stated. This expansion aligns with Etihad’s mission to provide exceptional travel experiences and opportunities for passengers to explore the distinct charm of both Abu Dhabi and new destinations like Al Qassim.

In addition to enhancing its route network, Etihad Airways is set to deliver an unparalleled travel experience at its new home, Zayed International Airport – Terminal A. This terminal sets new standards in travel comfort and service excellence, promising a memorable journey for all passengers, from the moment they check in to their arrival in Al Qassim.

As Etihad Airways continues to grow, this new connection is poised to attract travelers eager to explore one of Saudi Arabia’s most captivating regions, while also facilitating greater economic and cultural exchanges between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
