Ethiopian Airlines Group, the largest carrier on the African continent, has proudly announced the selection of the AVANT Up inflight entertainment solution for its forthcoming Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. This move symbolizes Ethiopian Airlines’ dedication to enhancing the passenger experience on board.

The AVANT Up system, provided by Thales Inflyt Experience, features a cutting-edge user interface and various digital services like interactive maps, shopping options, and meal and beverage selections, all designed to enrich the in-flight experience​

Notably, the system includes two Bluetooth connections, built-in Wi-Fi for pairing multiple devices, and in-screen USB charging ports, allowing passengers to charge various devices during their flight​

Ethiopian Airlines, a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the SKYTRAX award for “Best Airline in Africa” six years in a row, continues to invest in technology to elevate the onboard experience. The first of the airline’s Airbus A350-1000 aircraft is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of 2024, marking a significant step in its fleet expansion and enhancement strategy.
