Beyond Green and and Beyond Strengthen Partnership to Propel Sustainable Travel

Beyond Green, a prestigious global collection of the world’s most sustainable hotels, resorts, and lodges, proudly announces an expanded partnership with luxury travel leader andBeyond. This collaboration will introduce 23 new andBeyond properties into Beyond Green’s distinguished portfolio. The partnership highlights a mutual commitment to sustainability, focusing on the crucial areas of Nature, Culture, and Community, and aims to set a new standard in eco-friendly travel.

This enhanced alliance allows andBeyond to continue leading Beyond Green’s “Plan Your Trip” itinerary program, which now includes bespoke travel itineraries through Africa and the Americas, available for immediate booking. The union of these two leaders in sustainable travel demonstrates a powerful commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism practices.

Since its inception in 2021 by Preferred Travel Group, Beyond Green has grown significantly, welcoming diverse properties that meet stringent sustainability criteria. These include environmentally friendly operations, support for cultural and natural heritage, and promoting the social and economic wellbeing of local communities.

andBeyond, known for its pioneering work in conservation and sustainable travel since 1991, aligns perfectly with Beyond Green’s ethos. Together, they aim to leverage sustainable tourism to foster significant, positive changes globally. “Our partnership with andBeyond is a crucial step in our journey towards transforming travel into a force for good, especially at a time when the preservation of our planet has never been more critical,” stated Lindsey Ueberroth, CEO of Beyond Green.

Joss Kent, Executive Chairman and CEO of andBeyond, added, “Our expanded collaboration with Beyond Green marks a significant milestone in our 2030 vision. It strengthens our ability to drive substantial conservation efforts and sustainable travel experiences across our extensive operational footprint.”

The original collaboration began in 2021 with four andBeyond properties joining as founding members. These included andBeyond Vira Vira in Chile, andBeyond Bateleur Camp in Kenya, andBeyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge in Namibia, and andBeyond Mnemba Island in Tanzania. The latest expansion includes prestigious properties like the newly launched andBeyond Punakha River Lodge in Bhutan and the recently renovated andBeyond Phinda Forest Lodge in South Africa.

Following thorough on-site inspections by third-party sustainable tourism experts, these 23 properties will be bookable through Beyond Green’s ‘Hotels’ page on StayBeyondGreen.com. This phase of inspections is set to unfold over the next 12 months.

Exciting new itineraries available through the partnership include philanthropic journeys across South Africa, grand tours encompassing game drives and city explorations, expeditions through iconic East African landscapes, and transformative treks from South America to the Antarctic Peninsula.
