Be Aero, based at Istanbul Airport, has broadened its aviation portfolio by acquiring its first Challenger 850 aircraft, identified as T7-LISA with the manufacturer’s serial number (msn) 8106. This addition was uncovered through ch-aviation’s research, marking a significant milestone for the Turkish private charter service provider.

The Challenger 850, boasting a service history of 13.6 years, was transported to its new home base on March 13, 2024. The journey commenced from Singapore’s Seletar Airport and concluded at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, with layovers at Colombo International in Sri Lanka and Abu Dhabi International. Since its arrival, the aircraft has yet to be deployed for active service. Its operational lineage includes stints with ZYB Lily Jet, a business jet service based in Shenyang Taoxian International, and Skyservice Business Aviation, which operates out of Toronto Pearson.

Formerly operating under the name MNG Jet, Be Aero has diversified its fleet to cater to a wide range of client needs. Alongside the newly added Challenger 850, the company’s fleet comprises a Cessna 510, two units of the Dassault Falcon 2000, and a Hawker 800. This strategic expansion into owning a Challenger 850 not only enhances Be Aero’s service offering but also reinforces its position in the competitive market of private jet charters, providing customers with greater choice and luxury in their travel options.
